“It Takes Two: Collaborations by Kentucky Artisans”

On display through Feb. 27, 2016, “It Takes Two: Collaborations by Kentucky Artisans” showcases works by 66 Kentucky artisans who have paired up to create an array of unique collaborative works. A meet-the-artist reception for this exhibit will be held on Sept. 27, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

This exhibit showcases 33 collaborative works by 66 Kentucky artists. By working together, collaborating artists brought a variety of skills and backgrounds into play and learned about new materials and methods of working. The idea of collaborating to create art – was for many participating artists an entirely new concept and idea.

The center’s exhibits, shopping and travel information areas are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cafe is open 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
