Join us at our blacksmith's shop! Demonstrations throughout the day. Photo ops for the kids and refreshments.
Josephine Sculpture Park Director, Melanie Van Houten will be assisting us with a live bronze pour in the studio, which should be done by 2 pm.
Guest glassblower and Artist Chad Balster will be presenting his latest work for sale,
and guest Author Sherry Stanfa-Stanley will be presenting her new book "Finding My Badass Self", her new book about trying something new, every week for a year.
We are also accepting donations for the *new* Anderson County Arts Council(accepting small cash/check donations for them) and we are accepting items for the metal studio at the Sculpture Park! Maynard Studios is a proud supporter of the growing metal shop at Josephine Sculpture Park, as it's become a beacon for blacksmithing and sculpture. The Sculpture Park is really becoming a community center for metalwork! So all you blacksmiths, metalheads and handyfolk.... if you have an extra hammer, file or tool you might think visiting artists at the Park "might could" find handy... BRING IT & add it to the pile!
