Maynard Studios: Advice from 3M

As you may know from my first posts, I've been in a search to keep my husband and I safe from aluminum & stainless steel fumes while we work in our small family-owned blacksmith's & custom architectural (metal) shop.
I wrote a representative from 3M rep at their headquarters in Minnesota to see if they needed anyone to promote their newest product (the 9100 FX Air) in my region, and perhaps "earn" some sort of discount on two systems??? (((I wish!))) This is what the email received in response:

Your work is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! It is wonderful that you all are receiving so much recognition for your work as well, Unfortunately, we are not able to help you with the pricing on these systems. The only thing I have that would be cost effective for you would be our 6000 series half mask with an organic vapor/acid gas cartridge with a P100 filter. I certainly appreciate your excitement and enthusiasm for 3M products!!!!
